OUBAAI GOLF COURSE
The elements of a links course are well utilised with this design by Ernie Els, South Africa’s champion golfer. Veld grasses flank the immaculately manicured fairways and greens, while wind play a major role in the defenses of the course. Fairways are however generous while the greens are silky smooth and true. Walking the course offer you the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular views of the Outeniqua mountains, Gwaing River Valley and Indian Ocean. The course boasts with five par 3’s and five par 5’s.
The signature hole is the par 3 17th. As with the famous 7th hole at Pebble Beach Golf Links, it’s short but can be very deceptive with the downhill elevation and coastal breeze.
